Dr. Brigid Burke is an Australian visual artist. Her creative practice explores the use of mixed media and technology to create media  that are rich in aural and visual nuances. Her work has been presented in galleries concerts, festivals, and radio broadcasts throughout Australia, Asia, Brazil, Europe, and the USA. She focuses on integrating a combination of different media, installation, painting, and animation.

Currently, she curates the SEENSOUND Visual Music series at the in Melbourne. The series provides a space for the presentation of short visual and music works. Brigid has received several awards and recognition, including an Australia Council Project Music Fellowship, new work commissions, an Artist in Resident USA, and a Edwards Distinguished Professor Artist Residency at Indiana University USA.
